SRX467615: Flaveria bidentis 3
1 ILLUMINA (Illumina HiSeq 2000) run: 55.8M spots, 5.6G bases, 3.4Gb downloads

Design: F. pringlei, F. robusta, F. chloraefolia, F. pubescens, F. anomala, F. ramosissima, F. brownii, F. bidentis and F. trinervia plants were grown in the green house at University of Duesseldorf side-by-side and harvested at four different points of time over the year. Total RNA was isolated from the second and fourth visible leaves according to followed by a DNase treatment. 1µg of total RNA was used for cDNA library generation, which was accomplished with the TruSeq™ RNA Sample Preparation Kit (Illumina Inc., San Diego, USA) via the Low-Throughput Protocol (TruSeq™ RNA Sample Preparation Guide, Illumina Proprietary Catalog # RS-930-2001, Part # 15008136 Rev. A, November 2010). Clusters were generated with the TruSeq SR Cluster Kit v2 according to the Reagent Preparation Guide with the Illumina cBot device. The single read sequencing was performed with the Illumina HiSeq2000.

Study: Flaveria bidentis Transcriptome or Gene expression
show Abstracthide Abstract
C4 plants evolved several times independently from C3 ancestors. To gain insight into the extent to which gene expression is altered during the C3 to C4 transition we have analyzed the leaf transcriptomes of closely related Flaveria species exhibiting a C4, C3 or C3-C4 intermediate type of photosynthesis.
Sample: Plant sample for Flaveria bidentis
